Terms & Conditions

1.You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation

2.You accept and agree to all the Terms presented herein

3.All information supplied by you for the purposes of that booking is true, accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge.

4.By making payment for our service, you agree to abide by terms and conditions as set out here. GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right not to provide any service without the client agreeing to our terms and conditions as set out here.

1) Eligibility:

    a. Participants must be Indian citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 at the time of application.

    b. Participants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective international universities for the chosen program.

 

2) Application and Enrollment:

    a. All applications must be submitted through the Company's official channels.

    b.GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing a reason.

 

3) Program Fees:

    a. Participants are required to pay the program fees as outlined in the official program documentation.

    b. Program fees cover tuition, accommodation, meals and other program-related expenses listed in the service Agreement/Program documentation.

    c. Payment schedules and methods will be communicated to participants upon acceptance into the program.

 

4) Cancellation and Refund Policy:

    a. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Company.

    b. Refunds are subject to the Company's refund policy, which may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation.

    c. Refunds may not be granted after a certain date specified in the program documentation.

 

5) Program Changes:

    a. GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right to modify the program itinerary, schedule, or any other aspect as deemed necessary.

    b. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.

 

6) Liability and Responsibility:

    a. The Company is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred by participants during the program.

    b. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables.

 

7) Intellectual Property:

    a. Any intellectual property created by participants during the program remains their sole property. 

    b. Participants grant the Company the right to use their name, image, and work for promotional purposes.

 

8) Privacy:

    a. GR Scholastic LLP will handle personal information in accordance with its privacy policy.

    b. Participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for program-related purposes.

 

9) Termination of Participation:

    a. GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right to terminate a participant's involvement in the program for violation of these terms and conditions.

 

10) Code of Conduct:

    a. Participants are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the international university and the host country.

    b. Any misconduct, including but not limited to academic dishonesty, harassment, or any behavior that disrupts the learning environment, may result in immediate expulsion from the program.

    c. Participants expelled due to misconduct will not be eligible for any refund, and they will be responsible for their return expenses.

 

11) Loss of Documents:

Participants are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal documents, including passports, visas, and any other required identification.

In the event of loss or theft of documents, participants must report the incident to local authorities and the program coordinator immediately.

GR Scholastic LLP is not responsible for any costs or consequences arising from the loss of documents, including but not limited to visa denials, fines, or deportation.

Participants are solely responsible for obtaining replacements for lost or stolen documents at their own expense.

 

a. Liability and Responsibility:

    a. GR Scholastic LLP is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred by participants during the program.

    b. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, and documents.

    c. The Company is not responsible for any legal consequences resulting from participants' failure to comply with local laws and regulations.

 


 

12) Travel Bookings

    a. The participant authorizes GR Scholastic to make bookings on their behalf

    b. The terms and conditions of the travel service provider will apply to all bookings made by G R Scholastic LLP on behalf of the participant, including terms relating to cancellations and refunds

    c. If a refund is applicable for a booking made by GR Scholastic LLP on behalf of the client, the GR Scholastic LLP will only credit the refund back to the client once they’ve received it from the travel service provider

    d. GR Scholastic LLP is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by the client if the travel service provider is in breach of their obligations under their terms & conditions. This limits the liability ofGR Scholastic LLP, and ensures that if the travel service provider gives misinformation (i.e. they promise to provide certain activities as part of a tour but fail to do so), the client will need to pursue the travel service provider and not GR Scholastic LLP.

 

13) Payments

 

  13.1 Deposit 

    a. A deposit, paid via one of our accepted payment methods, is required to secure your program booking, which will be applied toward the cost of your program.

    b. Selected programs will now require an increased deposit due to airfare to and from your destination is included. 

    c. Deposits are generally non refundable after we confirm your booking, unless GR Scholastic cancels it.

  13.2 Final Payment

    a. If any balance is due after making your booking, you must pay this balance via one of our accepted payment methods by your final payment due date.

    b. The due date for your booking will be listed in the booking process, in your booking receipt email.

 

  13.3 Payment Methods: We accept payments towards your deposit or balance due by the following methods:

    a. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express: You can use one of these cards when booking or making a payment via our App or with GR Scholastic by phone. To pay your deposit with multiple credit cards, please call us. You may also pay by credit card by printing our credit card authorization form, completing and signing it, then emailing, faxing, or mailing it to our office.

    b. Payment through checks is also acceptable by RTGS method and or Net banking

    c. We do not accept any other forms of payment. Payments must be made in INDIAN currency or a conversion fee may apply.

 

  13.4 Returned Payments:

    a. If a check payment made to us is returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment, a closed account, or any other reason, we will notify you, and a returned check fee of _amount will be added to your balance due. You are responsible for making alternate payments to pay your balance due by the final payment due date. If we notify you after your final payment due date that a check has been returned, we must receive a replacement payment within 48 hours, or your booking may be subject to cancellation.

 

  13.5 Refunds:

    a. Refunds will be processed and paid as promptly as possible. If we need to recover funds already paid to our partners for your services, your refund will be issued after those funds have been recovered. Most refunds are processed within six weeks of being requested. Refunds for payments by credit card will be credited to that card, provided your refund does not exceed the amount paid on the card. Otherwise, your refund will be issued by check.

 

  13.6 Name Changes:

    a. Due to government and airline requirements, you must provide us the name of the traveler, including titles such as Jr. or Sr. and any multiple first, middle or last names, exactly as they appear on each passport. These are typically entered on our registration form. After you submit the registration form, any name changes (due to errors, marriage, or other reasons) should be reported to us immediately. Such changes may be subject to a _amount per-change fee plus any fees assessed by airlines or other vendors.Any errors that are not corrected prior to travel could prevent you from boarding your flights or your entry to some countries and may require the purchase of new airfare.

 

  13.7 Cancellations by Us

    a. Most of our programs require a minimum number of travelers to operate.We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any program due to insufficient demand, unsafe conditions, events beyond our control, or any other reason.If we cancel a program, we will notify you prior to the final payment due date (unless the cancellation is due to an unforeseen situation that arises after that) and offer alternate dates of travel or a full refund.

    b. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of a canceled booking, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment, or the cost of any connecting flights, accommodations, airport transportation, visas, document fees, vaccinations, or other services you may purchase that are dependent upon the operation of your trip. Where possible, we recommend that you wait until after your final payment due date to purchase any such services.

 

14) Services 

 

  14.1Included Services: Refer to Scope of Services in the service agreement

 

  14.2 Not Included:

    a. excess baggage fees

    b. advance seat reservations

    c. optional extensions & excursions

    d. personal, baggage 

    e. gratuities

    f. beverages

    g. items not specifically mentioned in the itinerary or "included features" list

    h. any items of a personal nature

 

  14.3 Unused Services:

 

    a. Unused services cannot be refunded once the trip has begun. No refund can be made for absence by travelers from any part of the itinerary.

 

15) Visa Application

 

    a. GR Scholastic LLP aims to process the visa application in the timelines committed to in its promotional materials. GR Scholastic LLPwill use its best endeavors to minimize any delay or inconvenience caused in this respect. However,GR Scholastic LLP does not guarantee time guidelines for any visa application. GR Scholastic LLPwill not be held responsible should the immigration authorities or any other third party change their rules, regulations or processing requirements if that change has a direct effect on the timeline for delivery.

    b. GR Scholastic LLP bears no responsibility for costs incurred by an applicant or any secondary applicants while waiting for a visa to be finalized by the immigration authorities. These costs may include but are not limited to cost of flights, rent of accommodation, and loss of earnings or any other costs. GR Scholastic LLP is not liable for any costs arising from any action or inaction of any immigration authority, embassy or government body associated with the visa process or indeed for the non-provision of service from any third party associated with the visa process or visa delivery; which may result in a visa application or any part in the visa application process being delayed or refused as a result.

    c. For short stay business and tourist visas, GR Scholastic LLP may apply for a Double or Multiple entry visa on the participants behalf, yet the embassy may decide to grant a Single entry visa. The decision to grant a Single entry visa remains solely with the embassy and GR Scholastic LLP does not have control over this. 

    d. An embassy may decide to review an application in the destination country rather than at the local embassy. This decision is at the discretion of the embassy and it is not something that would be known in advance by GR Scholastic LLP. It may take longer than the standard processing time for such applications to be processed and this is outside the control of GR Scholastic LLP.

    e. GR Scholastic LLP will always lodge a visa application in the applicants' best interest. We are a private company and we do not have authority to grant a visa of any kind. We cannot guarantee a positive result on a visa application or any assessment or review in arriving at the final result, which is part of the visa process. The final decision on all applications rests with the relevant organization responsible for issuing that result.

    f. GR Scholastic LLP cannot influence: any decision made by authority; any request for additional information before finalizing a visa; any delay by an immigration authority in the issuing of a visa; or a decision to refuse to grant a visa.

    g. The immigration authority/officer has the sole decision on the term of a visa that they grant. This term may be less than the term expected or requested by the participant. Similarly, the immigration authority / officer has the sole decision on the activation date that they place on a granted visa. This date may be prior to the date expected or requested by the participant. GR Scholastic LLP is not responsible for the term of any visa issued or the activation date placed on a visa by an immigration authority even. GR Scholastic LLP has no authority or control to change this term/date.

    h. GR Scholastic LLP applies for visa applications on their behalf in good faith based on immigration information made available directly by immigration and embassy departments at the time of lodgment. In the event where immigration laws and/or regulations have been updated by an immigration department but such updates have not been made known to the public at the time of visa lodgment, such conflicting information is outside the control of GR Scholastic LLP. GR Scholastic LLP will not be liable for any visa application being refused or any additional costs arising from such a refusal (including travel costs) should situations of outdated information arise.

    i. Similarly, in the event where immigration advice provided by one immigration officer / consular official conflicts with that of an visa issuing immigration officer at the port of entry, such conflicting information is outside the control of GR Scholastic LLP.GR Scholastic LLP will not be liable for any visa application being refused or any additional costs arising from such a refusal (including travel costs) should situations of conflicting information between immigration officers arise.

    j. GR Scholastic LLP will use and rely on information provided by the participant in the provision of services to that participant.GR Scholastic LLP will not independently verify or assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of such information.

    k. It is the participants's responsibility to provide GR Scholastic LLP with all required information and documentation concerning an application. This may include but is not limited to documentation from third parties such as partners, family, employers, sponsors, assessment bodies, educational bodies, etc. If the required documentation does not meet with the requirements of GR Scholastic LLP,GR Scholastic LLP retain the right not to lodge that visa application until it has received all of the required information in order to do so.

    l. GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right to contact your sponsoring employer should further details be required from the authorities or for confirmation of your application.

    m. If an immigration authority has incorporated a deadline for the submission of documents to an application, these documents must be provided at the earliest possible time but no later than 48 hours prior to the deadline date.

    n. GR Scholastic LLP cannot lodge a visa application until it has complete documentation as outlined in the registration pack and any subsequent documentation requested by GR Scholastic LLP from the main applicant.

    o. GR Scholastic LLP cannot be held responsible for any expense and/or delay arising from incomplete application forms, inaccurate/false or incomplete information provided or inaccurate/false or incomplete supporting documentation.

    p. GR Scholastic LLP are not responsible for applications that have become ineligible as a result of changes in Immigration policy at any stage of the immigration process. Any application that is not lodged to the Immigration Authorities may also be affected by changes in Immigration policy.

    q. Certain documentation required for a visa application may be valid for a certain period of time and become invalid thereafter (for example medicals, skills assessment results, police clearance reports). It is the participants's responsibility to ensure that the documentation provided to GR Scholastic LLP at the time of submitting a visa application are valid and within date.

    r. GR Scholastic LLP advises applicants not to complete any health examinations (such as Chest X-ray, Medicals, Blood tests, etc) until advised to do so by GR Scholastic LLP.GR Scholastic LLP do not cover the medical costs involved in this process.

    s. The results of health examinations are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If the medical results provided to the Immigration Authorities have expired by the time an immigration officer reviews these results for the visa application, the participant is responsible for providing up-to-date medicals and paying any associated costs.

    t. The results of character checks / police clearances are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If the character checks / police clearances provided to the Immigration Authorities have expired by the time an immigration officer reviews these for the visa application, the client is responsible for providing up-to-date character checks / police clearances and paying any associated costs.

    u. The results for assessments and visa applications are valid for a limited period of time. The participant is responsible for ensuring that the result for an assessment or visa application is provided toGR Scholastic LLP, not less than 30 days prior to the date of expiry of that result.

    v. Australian and New Zealand Working Holiday Visa applications may be finalized within 48 hours of lodgment. In some instances, applications may be referred to an Australian Immigration Office or the New Zealand Immigration Office for further processing. Referred applications may take up to 6 weeks to finalize once all outstanding information is received.

    w. You acknowledge that you are responsible for any additional fees that may be required to facilitate the visa application or ancillary service including but not limited to fees in connection with medical reports, Chest X-rays, court documents, couriers, translation services, certification of documents, police checks or passport renewals.

    x. GR Scholastic LLP will not provide any service (including the lodgment of a visa application) until payment has been made to Visa First in full for that service. GR Scholastic LLP is not responsible for any repercussions of not providing the service in question.

    y. If an application has become ineligible due to Immigration policy changes that have been introduced between when the application was accepted by GR Scholastic LLP but before the application is lodged to the Immigration Authorities, no refund is forthcoming for the assessment of the client's documentation where GR Scholastic LLP has provided this service.

    z. You must travel with the same passport you hold at time of completing your application. If you obtain a new passport after your visa has been issued, you need to contact GR Scholastic LLP to have your visa re-allocated to your new passport. In this case, re-allocation fees apply.

    aa. GR Scholastic LLPoperates a strict no refund policy for all ancillary services/ products.

    bb. In the event of loss or damage to any passport or documents received, Visa First liability will be limited to the actual value of the passport and documents up to a maximum of _amount per paid application. GR Scholastic LLP accepts no liability for consequential loss.

    cc. GR Scholastic LLP reserves the right to return any passport without the requested visa if the passport or the documents provided do not comply with the immigration requirements or if there is insufficient time to process the visa.

    dd. GR Scholastic LLP is responsible for taking the initial information and payment. Information received by GR Scholastic LLP is understood to be true and complete. Should the participant provide conflicting information at a later date to a GR Scholastic LLP case officer, GR Scholastic LLP will not be responsible for the result of the application. The participant will be liable for additional fees to GR Scholastic LLP where the service needs to be provided again in whole or part.

    ee. GR Scholastic LLP does not carry any liability to the client once the contracted service is completed with the client. This limitation on duty of care and / or liability includes but is not limited to information; advice or opinion provided by GR Scholastic LLP to the client after the contracted service is complete.

This limitation on duty of care and / or liability also includes but is not limited to any accident, injury or loss suffered by the participant or any third party as a result of a service or product provided by GR Scholastic LLP to that participant.

    ff. GR Scholastic LLP is entitled to include additional Terms & Conditions should the need arise. The submission of an application to GR Scholastic LLP by web, post, fax, email, constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions, including amendments thereto, by the participant.

    gg. The provision of visa services from GR Scholastic LLP to a participant ends as soon as a decision is reached by an authorized immigration officer on a visa application. No further work or services will be provided or included from GR Scholastic LLP to the client as part of the visa service provision unless already included in the original contract.. This information may include but is not limited to information relating to travel and visa entry dates, travel options, relocation, employment, accommodation, geography, and general information about life in another country. None of this information or opinion shall be considered to be part of the service. GR Scholastic LLP will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies or unsuitability of such information. It is the client's own responsibility to review and confirm for himself the accuracy and suitability of any such information.

    hh. Correspondence between Immigration and GR Scholastic LLP with regards to any visa application is strictly confidential and is not subject to further distribution to third parties (including main applicants).

    ii. It is the participants own responsibility to ensure that he familiarizes himself with his visa activation date and that the client enters the country to activate his visa before the visa activation date passes. The participant’s visa is liable to be canceled once the visa expiration date passes if the client has not entered before this date. The client bear's all responsibility and liability in such situations.

    jj. GR Scholastic LLP bears no responsibility or liability for you breaking any existing visa terms and conditions (including overstaying) that you hold or previously held which results in you subsequently becoming illegal in another country. It is your responsibility to ensure that you remain legal at all times while you are in another country.

    kk. GR Scholastic LLP will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by an embassy/consulate issuing an incorrect visa or incorrect details on a visa as this is out of our control.

    ll. GR Scholastic LLP shall not be held responsible under any circumstance to compensate you for any loss, damage or delay of passports or travel documents by any third party courier/delivery company.

    mm. It is the participants/client's responsibility to make sure he reads the Visa Grant Notification letter. It is very important that he understands and abides by the visa conditions. If he fails to abide by these conditions, the visa may be canceled and he may be required to leave that country.

GR Scholastic LLP will not be held responsible for costs incurred as a result of the client not abiding by these conditions.

    nn. GR Scholastic LLP cannot be held responsible for incorrect details on a visa as it is the participants/client's responsibility to check the received Visa Grant Notification letter and make sure that the passport details on the visa letter appear exactly as they appear on the passport. Please note that failure to do so may result in significant delays/missed flights/additional travel expenses/not being allowed to enter the relevant country.

GR Scholastic LLP should not be held responsible for costs incurred as a result of not following the above obligation

    oo. As our client it is your responsibility to declare any facts which may adversely affect your case via an email prior to engaging our services. This may include but is not limited to serious medical conditions and serious criminal convictions. Non-disclosure of such pertinent facts may result in the visa application being delayed or refused.

    pp. Bank account applications are processed within 5 working days once all details are confirmed and sent to our provider.

    qq. A visa may be canceled at any point in time after the visa grant letter is issued if it is discovered that the information provided to GR Scholastic LLP and in turn to the immigration authorities for the purposes of the visa application is deemed to be false and or misleading information. In the event of a visa being cancelled on such grounds, GR Scholastic LLP will bear no responsibility for any costs, grievances, liabilities or any other outcomes suffered by the clients that results from the cancellation of a visa application arranged throughGR Scholastic LLP.
